Who We Are

My name is Richard Gladwin and I have been involved in engineering all my working life. Over 30 years ago I began working for an automated packaging machinery manufacturer and became involved in the design of control systems, complete mechanical assemblies and machines, software design, research and development. Eventually I became a Director and Share Holder in that Business, a position I held for 15 years. In the mid nineties I started to get involved in Robotics, utilising robotic arms for handling applications. I have designed control systems, software, end of arm tooling and a many machines and components for packaging systems. I am now trying to help people who are looking at automation, or have existing systems that they would like to upgrade, improve, or just get running that little bit better! Whatever it is, if its to do with automation or robotics then maybe I can help you. Please call or email for a chat, or to arrange a visit.

What We Can Do For You

We can offer a number of services, from consultancy and advice on what robotics and automation can do for your business, project management, electrical, mechanical and software technical support, maintenance schedules, installations, fault finding and spare parts. See below for more details:

Robotics

Robotic systems are now well established and can provide superb solutions to repetitive manual tasks. We understand robotics, not just on a technical level, but from the experience of installing hundreds of installations across dozens of different industries and applications. We understand where the benefits are (as well as where they might not be) and can offer real advice on what can be achieved, what the ROI might be and on the true cost of ownership. There is no doubt that where it is done properly, automation can dramatically improve productivity and profit, but where it is done badly the true potential is never seen. From a technical standpoint, we can ensure that your investment is protected, that its electrical and software systems are safe and secure and that your operators understand it and can operate it safely and effectively.
